Washington D.C. has unique firearms requirements separate from states. Training is required for firearms registration, not concealed carry permits.
DC does not issue concealed carry permits to most residents. Firearms must be registered before possession. Only DC residents can register handguns. Magazine capacity limited to 10 rounds.
